RECIPE
OF DAAL DHOKLA:
Ingredients:
Wheat
Flour: 300gms
Carom Seeds/Ajwain: half
spoon
Red
Chili Powder: half spoon
Tuwar
Daal/Arhar Daal (Yellow Pigeon Pea): 150gms
Tomato:
01 medium size
Onion:
01 medium size
Turmeric:
1 spoon
Cumin
Seed: 1 spoon
Cumin
Powder: 01 spoon
Black
Pepper: half spoon
Vegetable
Oil: 04-05 spoons
Coriander
Leaves: 15-20 leaf for garnishing
Method:
Take wheat flour
with water add salt, cumin seed powder, black pepper, red chili powder, salt,
2 table spoon vegetable oil such as break wheat. Now your wheat is ready for
Daal Dhokla. Make dough of wheat and make like puri in shape dia should be
3”approx. Now fold from three sides like
photos.
Keep pressure
cooker on Gas Stove, add 4 spoon vegetable oils, add cumin seed and let it be
brown. Add cut onion, heat for 3 minutes add tomato, chili powder, turmeric
powder, cumin powder, black pepper, and salt. After heating of 4-5minutes add
Tuwar Daal, fry for two minutes then add half liter of water. Dip all piece of
dhokla in this water mixture and close the lid of pressure cooker. Now heat
them for 10-15 minutes. Now your Daal dhokla is ready to serve. Keep it on bowl
and spread Coriander Leaf for garnishing.
Duration: 45minutes.
