DAHI TURAI ( Curd Ridge Gourd )



RECEIPE OF TURAI DAHI KARI: 





There are many vegetables in the market. We make daily with that. But sometimes we want to change the preparation method of that main course meal so that we will feel some different in taste. So we think that today we should make some different dish of daily use vegetables like TOURI ( Ridge Gourd ).

Ingredients: 

Turai ( Ridge Gourd ): 500gms
Dahi : half cup
Cumin powder : half spoon
Black pepper : half spoon
Coriander powder : half to 1 spoon
Onion : 1 medium size
Ginger Garlic : Paste 01 spoon
Green chili : 02 pcs
Salt : As per taste
Vegetable oil : 2-3 spoon
Black Salt : 02 pinch


Method:  





Take 500 gms of Turai, wash and let it dry. Now chopped it well. Now take a frying pan. Put the 2-3 spoon oil in frying pan. Now add chopped onion, cut green chili, ginger garlic pate and fry this for few minutes till onion becomes light brown. Now add cumin seed powder, black pepper, salt, and coriander powder. Fry it well till oil comes on surface of all spices. Now put Turai in the pan and fry it well. Now cover it with lid. Leave on gas burner for 10-12minutes. If feel it is fully cooked add half cup mix dahi and 1 pinch of black salt on this. Then again cook for 5-6 minutes. Now its ready to eat you can serve it with chapatti or naan.

Duration: 30-35minutes.
