Mutton KOFTA



Recipe of Mutton KOFTA:




Many types of Veg/non kofta are made. It may be used as starter and as well as side dish of main course meal. It may be with gravy as well as dry. 

 Ingredients:

 Minced goat meat : 500 gms (Washed and drain it)

Gram flour (Sattu : 4-5 spoons

Ginger garlic paste : 1-2 spoons

Chopped Green Chili : 2-3 pcs

Gram masala powder: ½ spoon

Vegetable oil: To fry the tikki

Chopped Onion: 2-3 spoons

Chopped coriander leaves:  half cup

Salt: as per taste

Cumin powder: 1 spoon

Black pepper: half spoons

Coriander Powder: 01 spoon


Method:
 
Washed and drain minced goat meat, mash it with all ingredients like gram flour, ginger garlic paste, gram masala, chopped onion, chopped green chili and salt. Take 1-2 spoons of this mixture in both palm and make round small ball in shape (Kofta).

Heat oil in a Pan to smoking point; keep all ball of kofta in a pan. Now cover it with lid for few minutes. In few minutes of gap we have to check these kofta and turn it if required. It will release few water also and all kofta will be cooked in this water. No need to add any additional water in this.  If we feel it is proper cooked the remove from heat.

Add vegetable oil and heat to smoking point. Add all small bowls in the pan. Deep fry till it turns red brown. Now serve these tikkies with salad and green chutney.

You can add gravy also if you want to use it as side dish of main course meal:

In a fresh Pan add 1 spoon oil, add fried onion and add ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, black pepper, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Fry for few minutes. You can add yogurt(if you like), add 2-3 cup of water. Once the gravy starts to boil, let the koftas cook in the gravy for few minutes.

Garnish with coriander and serve with naan or roti.
